This time, we've incorporated Community Component into our platform. So what is Community Component? It is a highly customizable Yahaha game component provided by YAHAHA for all creators. By adding the corresponding Community Component to an object, you can achieve certain logic, functionality, effects, or UI. Check out this Developer Doc to explore the usage of Community Component.

We're offering five prizes for this jam, which are as follows:
Participation Prize: USD$20 for games that meet the minimum requirements of scoring over 60 and adding at least one component.
The Best Game *1: USD$200 for the game with the highest overall scores
Special Award for Three Diversifiers:
Best Story *1: USD$100
Best Visual *1: USD$100
Best Gameplay *1: USD$100
*Payment of the prizes will be made via PayPal. If the winner(s) do not possess a valid PayPal account, we will do our most to accommodate other payment methods. If you win, you can also choose not to claim the prize.

2. Your submitted games should be made with YAHAHA Studio.
3. At least add one component to satisfy the participation prize requirements.
This event will start on the 4th of August and end on the 13th of August in which you'll have 10 days to create games using YAHAHA Studio.

1. Once you've finished your project, publish your game in YAHAHA Studio.
2. Copy your game link from YAHAHA Studio, then create a project page for your game using this link. Remember to add your launch link to the description.
3. Record your game video and add it to your game itch page too! (We highly recommend that you do this, as it will enable our officials to evaluate it more fairly.)
4. Add your submission to this jam page before August 13th at 23:59 (UTC +00:00). Now you are ready for the review! You are also more than welcome to showcase your game creation on our Discord server's #creator-showcase channel!
Q: Is submitting more than one game allowed?
A: It's allowed, but we don't recommend it
Q: Can I submit a previously made game?
A: No. Only projects made within the given timeframe are allowed.
Q: Can I make changes to my game during the rating period?
A: No, please update your game only after the rating is done.
Q: Can I choose another engine to create a game with?
A: No, only YAHAHA Studio.
Q: What if I can't submit my game on time?
A: Check our Discord server/community post for how to submit late.
Q: Should I record a game completion video?
A: Yes, this is what we highly recommend you to do.
Q: How shall we submit our game as a team?
A: Only ONE person from your team needs to fill in the submission form on this page.
Q: How will I get the reward if the game is created by a team?
A: The team representative who submitted the entry will be contacted. Members of the team can then decide how they want to share the prize.
Q: If I end up winning the contest, when will I receive the reward？
A: Within 30 working days of the end of the Game Jam.
Q: When and where can I find the winners' announcement?
A: The winners' announcement will be shared on this web page and on our Discord server.
